Ellison Group Dedicates New Corporate Headquarters

Ellison Surface Technologies was founded by C. Michael Ellison in 1986. From its’ inception and continuing today, the primary focus has been to offer high quality thermally applied coatings for the major OEM turbine engine manufacturers, Ellison continues to serve the demanding requirements for high quality/specification compliant/value driven thermally applied coatings of this important customer base. Establishing the right process capabilities, and then backing those capabilities up with a well-tuned production and quality system has allowed Ellison to not only survive, but to thrive. Ellison has placed facilities where they needed to be, and then added other complimenting processes and markets to the mix.

Diversification coupled with strategic acquisitions have resulted in the formation of the Ellison Group in 1997. That group now consists of 3 different companies in 5 different locations. Ellison Surface Technologies has expanded its scope of service offerings to include thin-film coatings on rubber and metal. Accelerated Technologies Inc. (ATI) established in 1992 was the leader in commercialization of Stereolithography and Selective Laser Sentering (SLA and SLS) for the manufacturing of highly complex components for rapidly producing prototypes and tooling. Today, ATI supports customers with rapid prototyping, rapid cut tooling and prototype casting solutions. The ATI facility is located in Austin, TX.
