PolyJet 3D Printing (3DP) - Concept Models & Prototypes

3D printing is an additive fabrication method for producing concept models and rapid prototypes where high resolution, fine detail and surface quality are required.

The patented PolyJet™ process uses ink-jet heads to deposit the photopolymer material onto a build tray one ultra-thin layer at a time.  UV bulbs cure each layer as they are deposited to produce the final solid part, which requires no post-cure step.

Highlights of 3D Printing include:

  • Large build size (19.7" x 15.7" x 7.9")
  • High resolution (up to 600dpi on X and Y axis)
  • Produces ultra-fine details of complex designs
  • Layer thickness down to .0006", eliminating the stair effect of lower resolution models
  • Excellent custom finishing options available, including painting
