ATI Exhibits The Value Of FUNCTIONAL Parts At The RP Show

Accelerated Technologies exhibited at the Rapid Prototyping Show in St Charles Illinois on May 23-25, 2006. ATI's booth attracted more than its share of attention at the show, because ATI focused on functional parts not just quick parts. ATI's expertise in process, materials and consultation in design for manufacture position ATI to be a partner not just a supplier in the product development process. ATI brought an in-house panel of experts to the RP show. David Terkosky, Group Vice President of ATI, said, "Our team can advise customers on the best process and materials to build functional prototypes, and we can help pick the right process for bridge and short-run production. We offer an array of tooling, molding and casting options to give customers 1 part or hundreds of thousands of parts, so they can perform real-world testing and launch new products." AT the show, ATI exhibited fully functional prototypes built using ATI parts. ATI's Target 200 process, which yields die-cast representative parts in spec alloys (e.g. 380 AL & 390 AL) at a fraction of the cost of die-cast tools, was also a real attraction to visitors to the RP Show. Jeff Hansel, Director of Sales for ATI, noted "When customers need the right parts...high performance functional parts...more than just quick parts, ATI is the partner of choice."
