ATI Added Top Talent in 2005

Catherine Montalvo joined ATI as Quality Manager in August 2005

Cathering brings 12 years of experience in quality management to ATI. She was a consultant in ISO 9000, 14000N OSHAS 18000 with "Concilidad," a quality management firm in Columbia. She also spent six years as the quality director for "Itansuca," an engineering company in Columbia. Here she developed quality systems, systems to improve on-time-delivery, and processes for implementing corrective actions.

Catherine and her husband, Santiago, moved to the U.S. in 2005 and joined the Ellison Group (ATI's parent company). Catherine spent 9 months developing quality systems and standards for all Ellison Group facilities. In August, she was assigned to ATI full-time and she is already making an impact on quality, reducing re-work and improving on-time-delivery.

Catherine's goals at ATI include: supporting growth, increase 1st time yields and reduce cost of quality errors, and continue to improve the EHS environment. On her role at ATI, she says, "I'm very excited to work in a company that already has quality as a core value. Quality and EHS improvement require all of us at ATI to work as a team for continuous improvement. I'm confident we have the right team members, technical expertise, commitment to customers and attitude to make on-going quality improvements at ATI."
